YOU SPOKE WE LISTENED: New Solar Speed Feedback Signs
If you have not seen, check out Calaveras and Cassandra. Installed today (2/25) by the City Of Austin are dynamic, solar-powered speed signs, two each on both streets mentions and most problematic with speeding.
The district traffic engineer found budget money and put in the work order for the new signs. The basis for these signs is from the Traffic Committee’s compilation of DS resident local traffic concerns (the Townhall Traffic Meeting and SurveyMonkey) then followed by our discussion during CM Flannigan’s meeting about local traffic issues. – George Warriner
