September 2019 Update

Hello Davis Spring Members,

Fall is now upon us and I know we are hoping for cooler weather soon!

The Board has approved a bid from TF Harper and Associates LP for the construction of our new playground. We have been able to stay under budget with the inclusion of many equipment items desired from our members.  The playground committee is currently working on getting city permits.  Our new playground construction should be moving forward in the very near future.

We have completed the fence policy and will provide the policy to our members to view within the next few weeks. The board will vote on it at our next meeting in October.

We are currently working on our Budget for 2020 and that will be voted on at October meeting.

The social committee is working towards a Fall/Halloween event, more details are to come. If you would like to volunteer to help the social committee please let us know.

Our Landscape committee chair is still vacant. If you would like to volunteer to lead landscaping of our beautiful neighborhood please inquiry within.

National Night Out is Tuesday October 1st. If you can host a block party, go outside meet your neighbors, take a walk around the block, encourage neighborhood camaraderie during this evening to help make our neighborhood safer and a more caring place to live. Visit https://natw.org/about/ for more information.

Our fall garage sale will be Saturday Oct 26th.

Our pool will close for the season on Monday November 18, 2019.

Our next meeting will be Tuesday October 15, 2019 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9500 Neenah Ave. Portable 1, at 7:00pm.

As always please reach out to the board with any question, comments or concerns at board@davisspring.org
