The social committee members met in January to hear what you want and lay out the plan for 2010. The results were that you like the current kiddo events, but would like to step up the activities for adult and older teen/tween events. Well you got it!

Our goal is to have at least three outings per quarter, with various price ranges, reaching family friendly to mature audiences. Some of the potential new events this year include: a bar-b-que cook-off between the blocks, Blues on the Green, The McNeil High School performances, helping at the soup kitchen once a year, or tickets to the opera.

This page is a brand new page we will be using to provide information on upcoming events. This page will include information on upcoming events plus a new program for residents to coordinate events called the Events Center. If you would like to coordinate an event for the neighborhood, let us know and we will post it on the page and assist you in coordinating the events. Not only will this help to bring the neighborhood together, but perhaps group rates will let us save while we do it! Everyone will own the event that they bring up and anyone wanting to participate will be responsible to contact that person or follow the posted steps to get their own tickets.
